Blue, Red, Orange and Warm Wood Color Inspiration

The next few days will be a whirlwind. We are packing up our apartment, meeting up with the moving van, and moving into our new home. Whew! I thought I would show you some of the images I have been pinning to Pinterest for inspiration. The colors I am going for are blues with touches of red and orange and lots of warm wood. The house is a split level and is calling for a little mid century mix.

These images really make me happy. They are full of color and texture and yet look peaceful, comfortable and fun. There are vintage pieces mixed with new pieces and warm wood mixed with painted furniture. This is the feel I am going for, but with my own twist.

I’ll be back later in the week with a little house tour.

Have you already moved from Maine? I like the mid-century look and colours you’d chosen for your new home and look forward to seeing a tour of it. Have a great week! Pam

How exciting that you’ve already found a new home, Mary! I love all your inspiration photos and I can’t wait to see your new home and how you incorporate the designs. Good luck with yet another move!

Mary, you find the best pictures to inspire. I know it must be hard to move from the place you’ve called home, however, I admire your optimism and spunk! Your a true artist. Hugs

Lovely inspiration. Best of luck with the moving in and unpacking. Just take your time – it can be overwhelming but it will all get done!

I have the very mixing bowls on the top shelf in the pic from Parsimonia! Have owned them all my married life(many years). Love that picture!

If only it was possible to skip the packing up part, I never did like that chore.
All the best and pretty excited to see the new house considering the inspiration pics
