Sometimes yard sales are hit or miss. This weekend there were five yard sales and they were all hits. I went with my yard sale buddies and we came home with a trunk full of great stuff.
I saw this sailboat painting and fell in love with the colors. It has a nice linen mat and silver frame. I was so excited when I saw the $7.00 price tag.
These two books were only .25 cents each. The covers are amazing. They are Reader’s Digest condensed books from 35 years ago.
Whether the yard sales are hit or miss, there is always one thing we are sure of, there will be many laughs.

Great finds! Those Readers Digest books have the most beautiful covers. I saw a whole box of them at a local shop and may have to go back to get a few for a bookcase I recently refinished.

Great painting score!! And those books are fabulous – there are tons at my thrift shop and I have to control myself from buying them since I just donated 10 boxes of books to the same thrift shop!!
