Honey Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
| 1. | Preheat oven to 425*. Grease a 9" square pan, set aside. |
| 2. | Beat egg. Add milk, honey and melted butter and mix well. Set aside. |
| 3. | In a medium bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture and mix just until blended. Do not over mix. |
| 4. | Pour into pan evenly and bake for 18 - 20 minutes. |
| 5. | Serve warm with butter and honey. Enjoy. |
