Bedroom Inspiration from Chairish –
The next room on my decorating list, in our Cleveland home, is the master bedroom. Since we travelled lightly to Cleveland (AKA leaving a lot of furniture behind for our son), it has been a challenge to find good quality, affordable home furnishings. Chairish is the perfect answer for getting that one of a kind, collected, vintage look I love so much without all the hassle of visiting lots of consignment stores and trolling Craigslist. Chairish is an online curated consignment marketplace, where design loving people can buy and sell beautiful pieces of pre-owned home furnishings.
I made myself an inspiration board for our bedroom using pieces I found in the online Chairish shop.
I designed the whole room around this amazing Arne Jacobsen Style Red Leather Chair & Ottoman. I love the curves of this iconic Mid-Century beauty, reupholstered in red leather for a fun, modern look.
More curves and beautiful craftsmanship can be found in this affordable, warm, wood headboard, a vintage John Widdicomb in king size at $395.
I would love to flank each side of the headboard with these gorgeous blue campaign nightstands.
Finding high quality vintage lighting can be challenging. Chairish has so many great and affordable choices to pick from like this 1970s modern ceiling light fixture. It still has its original oiled brass canopy. This Mid-Century Modern 1950s Western Style Lamp with its original shade is amazing!
Chairish is the perfect place to search for budget friendly pre-owned artwork too. There are many styles to choose from. I would hang this Alice Houston Acrylic over the headboard.
Now for some fun accessories like this vintage tartan plaid blanket and Flotaki rug. Add some colorful pillows and you have the perfect room (in my humble opinion) … colorful, vintage-eclectic perfection.
