Forcing Paperwhites for the Holidays Video

Forcing paperwhites to bloom during the holidays is super easy.  The time invested is well spent when your return is beautiful, cheerful, fragrant smelling live flowers when it is cold and wintry outside.  I made a little video to show just how easy it is.  You’ll have to excuse my awkward hand movements and the fact that I say um about a million times.  My next video will be better.  I hope.

This is what they look like after about 10 days.

They make perfrect gifts during the holidays too.

Very informative video and well done! I can’t way to get my bulbs. I stagger planting them so I always have some blooming, too.

Can you believe I can’t find paperwhites anywhere? I went to four places last week and nobody has them yet. Thanks for the info and for linking to the Open House party.

Mary, What a great video!!! Very well done! Don’t you love forcing paperwhites? They are so easy and beautiful. What a great bowl you chose… and how pretty that you covered the stones with moss!
    You are a star!!!!

I couldn’t find any bulbs in town last week, but now you’ve inspired me to look again. I’d love to have some real flowers blooming indoors in the winter! Great film debut!
